Paws N Claws Pet Name Art
I recently began creating custom pet illustrations that combine name art with playful cartoon renderings. Each piece features the pet's name, with a hand-drawn cartoon illustration of the pet creatively integrated within the lettering. This ongoing project has not only been an enjoyable artistic endeavor but also a meaningful way to offer personalized gifts for pet lovers seeking something truly unique.
To kick things off, a person sends a photo of their pet! I’ll hand-draw a custom font with the pet’s name, then illustrate a playful cartoon version of the furry (or feathered or scaly!) friend right inside the letters. Whether it’s a dog, cat, parrot, or something more exotic—I’ve got you covered.

Character Illustration
I titled this piece Gem Turtle. My goal was to design a turtle with a shell made of glowing crystals, creating a luminous effect in the dark.
This illustration presented a significant challenge.
First, I aimed to render the turtle with intricate detail to achieve a three-dimensional appearance. Second, this was my first time designing and coloring crystals, so applying the right textures and colors to ensure they stood out was essential.
The concept was inspired by a drawing prompt that encouraged artists to reimagine an animal with a unique, nature-defying twist. I envisioned a world where turtles inhabit caves, using the radiant glow of their crystal-covered shells as a natural light source.
